The Officers’ Mess was constructed in the Neo-Renaissance style to plans by the government architect Wutsdorff during the time of the Regent Duke Johann Albrecht. It forms the termination of the Baroque main axis of the Schlossgarten. It was used by artillery officers for dining and entertainment
The Officers’ Mess is undergoing restoration and will soon be seen again in all its former glory.
